Charles Kennedy, is Head of Accountable Care Solutions, Aetna. Previously he served as the Vice President for Health Information Technology, at WellPoint, Inc. He is responsible for building technical solutions which leverage health plan data sets to help improve patient care. He has 20 years of healthcare experience, most recently as CEO of Care Assured, a technology start-up company. Prior to that, he served at BlueShield of California. He has deployed several advanced health IT tools and is responsible for creating strategic acquisitions and investments in companies that focus on healthcare technology. He was appointed to serve on the CCST council in 2010.

Kennedy received his M.D. from UCLA and his M.B.A. from Stanford University.
