California Teacher Advisory Council Members Appointed

The first state-level teacher advisory council has been appointed. They have been commissioned to provide a valuable, and currently absent, connection between the practitioners, the educational experts, and policymakers. Appointees to the California Teacher Advisory Council (Cal TAC) are science and mathematics teachers from California. Most are currently practicing teachers from a wide representation of urban, rural, and suburban schools. Diversified classroom teaching experience in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as the community colleges is also represented.
